Colombian singer and songwriter Ryan Castro is known for his Latin pop, hip-hop, and reggaeton style. He broke through with singles like 2017's "Morena" and 2020's "Medellin." In 2022, he delivered both Reggaetonea and Los Piratas. Born in 1994 in the Pedregal neighborhood of Medellín, Colombia, Castro became interested in singing and hip-hop at a young age. By his teens, he was already performing and eventually moved to Curacao where he found gigs at hotels, clubs, and restaurants. It was there that he released songs online that went viral, bringing him to the attention of singer Kevin Roldan who signed him to his label. In 2017, he released the single "Morena," which helped build his fan base. More songs followed, including "Miami," "Woman," and "Secreto."
